The journey through the path of the pentacle seeks completion through the mysteries of quintessence.

Along the pentacle path of Elemental Magick and Embodiment, the final stroke is one of completion within the topmost point of the star. This top point represents the wholeness of divinity both within matter and transcendent as Spirit. Many would equate it to Love.

Tapping into Source | Spirit is one thing… Infusing it into a dance practice is another.

There are numerous ways one can witness or become one with Spirit:

– Authentic expression

– Emotion or to Emote

– The gift of Presence

 – Honing in on the subtle messages & opening perception to see how all is Spirit.

It is within the element of Spirit that all elements find unity.

Spirit is the 5th Element.

One element cannot exist without the other. Spirit is where all of the elements find unity and unlimited potential. Spirit is how the gifts of dance and magic are shared. It is through refinement of our physical vessel that Spirit is granted an optimal channel for its essence to be emoted and its message to be conveyed clearly. Awareness of this is crucial for an artist of any field, otherwise the art they produce is devoid of the Quintessence of Spirit. Without this element, artistry becomes lackluster and forgettable. For the same reason that potions, poisons, elixirs and tonics are described as Spirits ~ so too is it incredibly beneficial for an artist to consider the ingredients, intention and quality that they are using to create and imbue their artistry with. It is when art can emote an essence that someone can experience it in a way that touches the Spirit within them, that greatness is attained. A single performance can change the lives of multiple people all at once. Herein lies a powerful understanding and jewel of wisdom.

– Reciprocity is key

Ask yourself: Is this purely an offering?

Am I seeking something in return?

There is no wrong answer.

And always remember that to offer is ultimately a gift unto yourself.

What we are really talking about here, is consciously establishing this connection.

This class offers one last structured dance in the realm of Spirit + a guided exercise for Elemental Fusion Dance Improv.

Please come prepared with your TAROT DECK + DANCE GRIMOIRE (hard bound journal), Amulet, oil of FRANKINCENSE & MYRRH, purple or white candle + rosemary smudge, yoga mat, something to tie around your waist and hydration.

In Hermetic Alchemy, all of the primary elements that form this existence we were gifted the opportunity of being born into: Earth, Fire, Water and Air ~ our sacred pillars of reality as we know it, are considered primary elements. We cannot have one without the other, and each element is united within the realm of Spirit. To take this further, Spirit goes beyond being a realm, it is within itself a matter of substance that many would describe as consiousness made manifest.

We can say the same about everything in existence for that matter, which would bring us into more of an Animistic perspective… Something I personally think everyone would benefit from looking into.

Spirit is our primordial pixie dust and our reason, if not reasoning behind everthing we do as artists, practitioners of magic or seekers of enlightenment. And it is through harmonious relationship with all 5 elements that we can place ourselves into a state of continual growth, evolution, and magical empowerment.

Frankincense and Myrrh were used for rituals and offerings by the ancients in temples and shrines dating back to time immemorial. When burned, frankincense releases powerful vibrations which not only uplift those of the area, but also drive out all evil and negativity.

Frankincense is therefore used in incenses of exorcism, protection, purification and consecration. Linked to the Great Above, it is also burned to induce visions, tap into the higher realms and to aid meditation, and is added to sachets for luck, protection and spiritual growth. Frankincense is known by many a conjurer for its benefits in pleasing benefic spirits (land spirits, ancestors, etc.) as an offering  and developing a good relationship with them.

In a pinch – Rosemary may be used as a substitute for Frankincense.

When burned as an incense, Myrrh brings purification to the area, lifts the vibrations and creates an atmosphere of peace. It is rarely burned alone, and usually in conjunction with Frankincense or other resins. Sacred to Hekate, the secret wisdom of Myrrh is that it offers a vivifying energy from the red currents of the great below. Myrrh is also included in healing incenses and sachets, and its smoke is used to consecrate, purify and bless objects such as amulets, talismans, charms and magical tools. Myrrh also aids meditation and contemplation.

Frankincense and Myrrh as essential oils offer many medicinal benefits as well:

  1. Promotes Restful Sleep
  2. Eases Anxiety and Stress
  3. Can Help With Pain Relief: Packed with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, the Frankincense & Myrrh blend can help relax muscles and ease nerve pain. Try adding a few drops of the diluted blend to a clean, damp washcloth and apply as a cold compress.
  4. Perfect for Prayer and Meditation: With its holy and ritualistic background, it only makes sense that the oils in this blend would assist with the focus and calmness that benefit our spiritual side. We recommend diffusing Frankincense & Myrrh to allow whirring thoughts to come to a standstill.
  5. Can be Added to Your Skincare Routine: Frankincense and Myrrh essential oils both happen to be renowned for their skin-nourishing properties. The two blended can contribute to glowing skin and the reduction of brown spots and sun damage. Add a drop of the Frankincense & Myrrh blend to a teaspoon of your favorite moisturizer.
  6. Acts as a Respiratory Aid and Immune Booster: The respiratory system can benefit from Frankincense as it aids fighting off illnesses and promotes healthy breathing. Diffuse this blend during cold season or utilize the antimicrobial properties in a household cleaner.
  7. Soothes Irritated Skin: Rashes, bug bites, and eczema can all benefit from the anti-inflammatory and healing properties of this blend.

It’s time for the Spirit Elemental Ensouling Ritual for your Dance Grimoire. Make sure that you ensoul and perform the anointing ritual at least 3 times in total, and incorporate the Prana Diamond  Meditation while breathing with the white and red light of the dragons when your Spirit Gateway page is complete.

Your Spirit Elemental Invocation and Banishing incantations are available below the images of the remaining pages of the Embodied Elemental Alchemy Grimoire. See below:
