Class VIII: Water II

Within the Elemental Fusion Dance format, we nurture and sustain our practice with the rejuvenating qualities of water.

Water 2 encapsulates the energies of harmonious development, reciprocity, happy connection and love as reflected in the 2 of Cups Tarot card.

“It is an absolute human certainty that no one can know his own beauty or perceive a sense of his own worth until it has been reflected back to him in the mirror of another loving, caring human being.”
― John Joseph Powell, The Secret of Staying in Love.

What we put into the the world comes back to us.

How we treat ourselves shows up in how our bodies and minds give back to us.

What goes around comes around.

The number eight is a symbol for the energetic vibration of personal power, hidden power, shared resources, determination, the pinnacle, recognition of work, rebirth, generation, and transformation.

The womb is the portal to the divine. The womb is the portal of the Goddess in her many forms. The womb is the portal of the Creatrix, ancestral healing, downloads, visions, and dreams, and it’s the portal for new life to be birthed. Nurturing a relationship between the womb and the heart anchors us within these wisdoms and empowers us to walk the path of wholeness.

Please come prepared with your oil of Jasmine and blue candle to be ready for our deepening into the realm of Water + rosemary smudge, yoga mat, blocks, something to tie around your waist and hydration of choice.

HOMEWORK: Practice the womb, heart water diamond excersize with your jasmine oil and candle.

And practice the Water Motif along with me at least once per day. Do your best to have the sequence memorized by our next session so that the final additions will feel rewarding rather than overwhelming.

The Witches Jewel of Power: To Dare

To dare is the projective power of elemental water. Water’s projective power is one of fearlessness. With the power of elemental water you can dare to overcome all barriers to wholeness before you. Much like a raging river rising up to break the banks and flow over all impediments, the daring power of water is the radical energy to blast through all preconceived limitations and societal injustice. Daring is also the boldness to heal your emotional wounds, strengthen your weaknesses and seek relationships despite the risk of disappointment. The projective power of daring breaks the old molds so you can redefine yourself. Daring to overflow the cauldron’s edge can only happen after you discover where that edge lies, then you can boldly reach new depths of compassion and intuition. Once the cauldron spills, there is no containing this power.

The Witches Jewel of Power: To Accept

To accept is the receptive power of elemental water. Acceptance is an acknowledgment of the present mold that defines you. You have to know who you are right now (the good, the bad and the ugly) in order to diagnose your wounds, strengthen weaknesses, and put your strengths to work. You have to know where you are so you can chart a course to where you want to be. Acceptance is the first step in any evolutionary path toward emotional maturity. Consider the witch’s chalice and cauldron, the magickal tools of water; they teach us about defining and honoring boundaries. Acceptance is the “cup’ that molds your emotional water. This power is about settling into the circumstances of your body, environment, family, friends, work, etc. It is about acknowledging what is truly happening right now so you can determine what you would like your life to become.
